Hi! I'm Emily Caudill Klapkowski, the owner of You-Neek Designs. My passion is creating designs for interiors, exteriors and everything in between. I am a construction junkie specializing in renovations. I love taking a home that was designed decades ago and adapting it to fit the current functional needs of a family in the 21st century. I'm your gal. We will talk through your style and functional goals and I will help you piece it all together. I have a full network of trusted contractors for whatever the project scope. The devil is in the details and boy oh boy are there details in renovating your home. I will be there from concept to completion making sure the design is executed correctly, in a timely fashion and within a budget you are comfortable with. I was 11 years old when I first told my mom that I wanted to be an interior designer. This was after I had rearranged the furniture in my tiny bedroom about a dozen times. I had no idea what it even meant to be an interior designer, but I loved thinking outside of the box within a tiny box.
Born and raised a University of Kentucky basketball fan, the stars aligned with the UK School of Interior Design being nationally ranked and accredited. A match made in heaven. I leveraged my design education to work in the commercial architectural world and then the high-end commercial furniture industry. I pull inspiration from my vast experiences as a commercial designer, product developer, product marketer and sales rep.
I treat each project as if it's my own home. The best part of my job is seeing the customer's reaction as the finishing touches are pulled together and the space is complete. The excitement is palpable and fuels my passion for design.

You-Neek Design team was there with us from meeting with the structural engineers to being there on move-in day.
